The new (white) and the old (purple) fins. The purple one, like the one I sent to Dan, wouldn't seal from the wind at high speed. More on this below.

A double loop of bungie holds the front end.

The 10 mm diameter post that holds the trailing edge of the fin vertical.

The rounded plastic insert on both ends keeps the material on the top from damage and dirt out of the bottom.

The hole for the post goes clear through the end of the keel. 10 mm.

Hold the trailing edge of the fin in place then insert the post from the bottom. Do this without the bungie attached.

Pull the bungie over the hook and that's it. The tension on the post from the bungie keeps the post from falling out. It never has in over 10 years of flying Sensors. Make sure to drill the post hole perfectly vertical.

A close up of the bungie and hook. Notice how the front end of the fin wraps tightly around the haulback hardware.

The hook.
A close up of the haulback hardware and keyhole tang enclosed by the front of the fin. No air gets in now.
The old fin used to run clear up to the trailing edge but part of it sat on top of the keel and would allow the fin to fill up with air and puff out a bit when flying fast.
Here you can see how easy it would be for air to get into the fin with the old set up.
